Fare Changes & Subscription Freeze from 31st March

From Sunday 31st March 2024, our bus and tram fares are changing.

We’re also introducing a subscription price freeze as a reward for our existing customers who travel frequently with us! More on subscriptions below… 

Delivering high value, reliable public transport is always our priority, and these small changes to some of our tickets will allow us to continue doing just that. Our 30-day tickets are still only £2.67 a day for unlimited travel on our whole network - that’s without taking advantage of the subscription freeze below!

We subscribe to almost every service we use nowadays - think about it:

TV? Subscribed.

Shopping? Subscribed. 

Travel? Subscribe now! 

If you subscribe to a 30-day or 7-day Child, Young Person or Adult Saver ticket before 31st March, your fare will be frozen at the current price! 

Your Adult 30-day ticket will stay at just £2.53 a day, whilst your 7-day ticket still works out at £3.14 a day. If you do two trips a day, you get more than your money’s worth! 

What are the benefits of subscribing?

  • Subscriptions renew automatically, so you’ll never forget your ticket
  • Always have a ticket to travel right there on your phone
  • No contract commitments so you can cancel at any time

You can lock in your subscription before 31st March on the Blackpool Transport app

Tickets staying the same great value

Fares may be changing but we’re keeping select tickets exactly as they are! 

Group tickets

Our Group ticket offering is still the same fantastic value at £18! This means any 5 people get unlimited travel on our buses and trams all day, still for the same great value.

Single bus tickets 

Our adult single bus tickets are still locked in at just £2 until 31st December 2024 under the Government’s £2 Fare Cap! So, you can still explore anywhere on the Fylde Coast for £2 only!

College tickets

College tickets will be staying at the same price from 31st March until September.

What are the new fares?
