However you travel, we’ve made paying for your journey as easy and flexible as possible. Whether you like to tap and go, pay with cash or buy in advance, there’s an option to suit you.
Tap, Cap and Go
The easiest way to pay as you travel. Simply tap your contactless card or device on the reader each time you board. We’ll automatically calculate your journeys and cap your travel, so you never pay more than the daily or weekly fare. Tap Cap and Go can only be used on bus services and is not available on the tram.

Paying On Board (Contactless or Cash)
You can buy most tickets directly from your driver or conductor using contactless or cash.
The only tickets that can’t be purchased onboard are 30 Day and Annual tickets, which need to be bought in advance.
For everything else, including Singles, Hoppers and Day tickets, just hop on and speak to the team.

Mobile App
Our mobile app lets you buy tickets anytime, anywhere. Your tickets Are stored securely in your app wallet for up to 12 months – simply activate and scan when you plan to get onboard.
This is the easiest way to buy 30 Day and Annual tickets.
Online
You can purchase most tickets online through our website and have them sent directly to the email address linked to the app account of your choice.
This makes it the perfect option if you’re buying a ticket for someone else, simply send it straight to them.

You can purchase 7 Day and 30 Day tickets from local shops displaying the PayPoint sign.
