Fantastic travel offer as Blackpool celebrates dining delights
3 weeks ago

Blackpool Transport is set to provide a welcome boost for local businesses with a fantastic evening offer for anyone planning to eat out during the town’s first Restaurant Week.
Between 27th March and 3rd April, the Blackpool Transport ‘two for £10 group ticket’ on trams and buses will be halved to just £5 from 5.00pm – enabling residents and visitors to make the most of some of Blackpool’s best dining experiences.
Throughout the week, participating venues will also offer great discounts on food and drink as part of a new initiative organised by Blackpool Town Centre and Tourism BID (Business Improvement Districts).
Many venues will also be staging special events to help celebrate the town’s hospitality scene, maintaining its status as an all-year-round destination and a hub for dining, shopping and entertainment.
Jane Cole, Managing Director of Blackpool Transport, commented: “We’re thrilled to play our part in supporting this brilliant initiative that will provide a real boost for local businesses and promises some great nights out for residents and visitors.
“By halving the price of our two for group £10 tickets to just a fiver after 5.00pm, anyone who takes the bus or tram into town will have a few extra pounds to spend on the very best food and drink Blackpool has to offer.”
