Join the Big Bus Conversation to improve bus services
3 weeks ago

Blackpool Transport recently made improvements to their bus network in April 2025 with further improvements planned for June and September 2025, and are invested in continuously improving their services and ticket offering for their customers. The feedback received from the Big Bus Conversation will be used to inform decisions around network and route changes as well as assess the need and demand for new or improved ticketing products.
It is designed to give customers the chance to give feedback and make suggestions on bus routes, timetables and ticketing options as well as provide information on how this would impact their travel habits or experience.
Blackpool Transport plan to then share the results with participants of The Big Bus Conversation, directly responding with details of the feedback received and more importantly what improvements and suggestions the team can look at implementing.
Jamie Swift Head of Service Delivery at Blackpool Transport said ‘We are committed to continuously improving our services and product offering for our customers. We regularly use technology and data to continuously assess the success of our bus services and ticket options, however without customer input and feedback the data only tells us part of the story. This is why we are once again inviting our customers to give us feedback on our current offering as well as tell us what they would want to see from an improved bus network and ticket offering’
‘As a company we have plans and aspirations to improve our network and product provisions however we also want to see what our customers think as this will help us to deliver improvements that make the network better, more efficient and easier to access for our customers.’
