Extra buses for music fans as stars take to the stage in Lytham
1 week ago

We are planning to go the extra mile to help fans make the most of a packed line-up of stars performing at this year’s Lytham Festival.
As big-name artists, including Teddy Swims and Alanis Morissette, take to the stage in Lytham Green, we will be running a special 11X Festival Flyer service, alongside extra Lytham Line buses.
Hayley Gregory, Marketing Manager, explained: “Providing a swift and convenient connection between Blackpool town centre and the festival, the 11X Festival Flyer buses will run throughout the event (July 1 – 5).
“In the run-up to the festival, we’ve worked closely with organisers to ensure ticketholders can enjoy hassle-free travel to the series of concerts in Lytham Green. This year, any Blackpool Transport ticket holder can take advantage of the 11X Festival Flyer to get to the festival, and then back into Blackpool once the stars have left the stage.
“We will also be running additional Lytham Line services for the duration of the event, so there are plenty of travel options available for music fans who don’t want to risk missing any of the performances after struggling to find a parking space!”
The dedicated 11X Festival Flyer buses will run in the afternoons during the festival, and when combined with the Lytham Line, provide a ten-minute service to and from Blackpool. To help festivalgoers plan their trip to Lytham Festival, we have also published our own travel guide, which can be viewed here.
Further information about the festival, which also features Skunk Anansie, The Pet Shop Boys, and Scissor Sisters, can be found here.
