Blackpool Transport all set for busy Easter weekend

With the first bank holiday weekend of 2026 fast approaching, we have announced details of our Easter bus and tram services.

Stepping up services compared to previous years, we will run our buses to a full Saturday timetable on Good Friday (April 3), helping residents and visitors get the weekend off to a flying start. Trams will also run to their usual timetable throughout the holiday weekend.

Jamie Swift, Head of Commercial, commented: “Whatever the time of year, there’s plenty of things to do and places to visit on the Fylde coast, but on a bank holiday weekend it really comes to life.

“We want to make sure that it’s as easy as ever to get around as tens of thousands of visitors flock to the seaside for the first full holiday of the year.

“When they arrive, they can look forward to a warm welcome from our team and some fantastic travel offers that will also save them a few pounds they can spend on a few treats.”

A Sunday bus service will also be in operation on Bank Holiday Monday (April 5) as well as Easter Sunday. Details of our great value travel offers over Easter, including our ever-popular £10 ‘Duo’ and ‘Family Saver' tickets, can be found here.
