Ahead of the busy summer season, Blackpool Transport is teaming up with hotels on the Fylde coast to help holidaymakers enjoy hassle-free trips to the area’s top attractions.

Members of the bus and tram operator’s sales team have been working closely with hoteliers and B&B owners to produce eye-catching promotional materials designed to help guests make the most of the local transport network.

Maddie Pouard, Sales Manager at Blackpool Transport, explained: “With clear route information and a direct link to our easy-to-use app, purchasing tickets and planning journeys has never been quicker or more convenient.

“On particularly busy check-in days, our friendly and knowledgeable sales team will also be out and about visiting popular hotels. While they’re there, our team can also help hotel staff meet and greet guests while providing face-to-face travel advice to visitors and assisting with ticket purchases.

“In addition to enhancing the guest experience, this service also helps ease pressure on hotel staff, allowing them to focus on delivering outstanding hospitality.”

The operator’s sales team has already forged close links with several hotels and it’s keen to hear from other establishments that could benefit from travel advice tailored to the needs of their guests.

“We’re fully committed to supporting the area’s excellent hospitality industry while making Blackpool and nearby seaside towns even better places to visit,” Maddie said.

“Over the coming weeks, we would urge any hotels and B&Bs to get in touch with the sales team to see how we can all work together to deliver the best possible experience for the millions of people who flock to the Fylde coast over the summer and into the illuminations season,” she added.
