Heroes Bus & Tram Tribute Campaign – Terms & Conditions

1. Campaign Overview
The Heroes Bus & Tram Tribute Campaign is operated by Blackpool Transport Services Ltd and provides members of the public with the opportunity to submit names of veterans, serving personnel and members of the Armed Forces community for inclusion on a commemorative vehicle.
2. Free Participation
Participation in the campaign is free of charge.
3. Submission Process
- Submission of a name does not guarantee inclusion.
- Inclusion is subject to available space, operational requirements and moderation.
- Submission deadlines apply and late entries may not be accepted.
- Duplicate submissions may be combined where appropriate.
4. Content Moderation
Blackpool Transport reserves the right to:
- Moderate, edit, shorten or remove submissions.
- Decline submissions considered inappropriate, offensive, misleading or otherwise unsuitable.
- Request clarification or additional information where necessary.
5. Permission to Submit
By submitting information, entrants confirm that:
- The information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
- They have permission to submit the name and any accompanying information where appropriate.
- Any photographs, stories or additional content submitted may be used by Blackpool Transport for campaign-related purposes.
6. Display of Names
- Submitted names may appear on buses, trams, websites, social media channels, press materials and other promotional content related to the campaign.
- Vehicle allocation and placement are at the discretion of Blackpool Transport.
- Display durations may vary.
- Tribute tram displays may be temporary, while bus tributes may remain in service for a longer period.
7. Campaign Changes
Blackpool Transport reserves the right to amend campaign timelines, vehicle allocations, launch dates or other campaign elements where operationally necessary.
8. Donations
- Optional donations are made directly to the nominated charity via JustGiving.
- Donations are entirely separate from the submission process.
- Donations do not influence the selection, placement or prominence of any tribute.
9. Privacy
Personal information submitted as part of the campaign will be processed in accordance with Blackpool Transport's Privacy Policy and used only for administering the campaign and related communications.
10. Liability
Blackpool Transport cannot guarantee that all submitted names will be displayed and accepts no liability for any omission, printing error or operational change affecting the campaign.
11. Final Decision
Blackpool Transport reserves the final decision on all campaign matters. All decisions are final.
