Festive reminder about bus and tram services

With Christmas Day less than a week away, we are reminding customers of our bus and tram services over the festive season.

Except for Christmas Day, buses will run throughout the holidays, although there will be some amendments to the usual bus and tram timetables between December 24 and January 2.

Some of the most important changes include a Saturday service on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, with trams and buses running until 8.00 pm on both nights. 

There will also be a special bus service in operation on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm - however on these days there will be no tram services.

“When it comes to Christmas, it pays to plan ahead, and we would advise all customers to check our website or social media channels for the very latest travel information before embarking on their journey.”  commented Hayley Gregory, Marketing Manager.

“Our Customer Experience team will also be available Monday to Saturday, apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, and can be contacted by telephone, email or through our social media channels,” 

“We would also like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” she added.
