Roadworks - St Annes Road closure

Part of St Annes Road is closed due to roadworks until Friday 4th September. This affects Victoria Lines 5A and 5B and Cleveleys Connection 7 towards Blackpool Town Centre.

Services 5B & 7
Towards Blackpool Town Centre - Normal route to Highfield Road junction. Turn right onto Highfield Road, then left onto Hawes Side Lane, left onto Waterloo Road then right onto Central Drive at Waterloo Hotel to resume normal route

Service 5A
Towards Blackpool Town Centre - normal route to St Annes Road junction, continue along Highfield Road, right onto Lytham Road, right onto Waterloo Road (Royal Oak), left onto Central Drive to resume normal route

Services towards the Enterprise Zone and Lytham are not affected.

Promenade Closure Diversions

3rd Sep 2026 onwards

Due to road closures to set up equipment for Switch on, the promenade will be closed from 21:00 until end of service on 3rd September.

Service 5 towards the Hospital: Will use the normal route along central drive, then divert via Gymnasium, Grasmere Road, Condor Square, Park Road, Church Street, Abingdon Street, Talbot Road, Market Street, Church Street and Corporation Street before returning to normal route.

Service 5 towards Half Way House: From Market Street will divert via Church Street, Corporation Street, Clifton Street, St Johns Square, Caunce Street, Grosvenor Street, Park Road, Reeds Avenue, Central Drive and will follow the normal route from there.

Service 6 towards Grange Park: From Condor Square will divert via Park Road, Church Street, St Johns Square, Abingdon Street, Talbot Road, Talbot Square, Market Street, Church Street and Corporation Street before returning to normal route.

Service 6 towards Mereside: From Market Street will divert via Church Street, Corporation Street, Clifton Street, St Johns Square, Caunce Street, Grosvenor Street, Park Road, Reeds Avenue and Central Drive before using the normal route from there.

Service 7 towards Cleveleys: Will use the normal route towards central drive then divert via Gymnasium, Grasmere Road, Condor Square, Park Road, Church Street, St Johns Square, Abingdon Street, Talbot Road, Market Street, Church Street and Corporation Street and follow the normal route from here.

Service 7 towards St Annes: From Market Street will divert via Church Street, Corporation Street, Clifton Street, St Johns Square, Caunce Street, Grosvenor Street, Park Road, Reeds Avenue and Central Drive before follow normal route from there.

Service 10 towards Blackpool: From Condor Square, will divert via Park Road,Church Street, St Johns Square, Abingdon Street, Talbot Road, Talbot Square, Market Street, Church Street and Corporation Street before returning to normal route.

Service 10 towards Lytham: From Market Street will divert via Church Street, Corporation Street, Clifton Street, St Johns Square, Caunce Street, Grosvenor Street, Park Road, Reeds Avenue and Central Drive before following normal route from there.

Service 11 towards Blackpool: From Lytham Road will divert via Tyldesley Road, Rigby Road, Central Drive, Grasmere Road, Condor Square, Park Road, Church Street, St Johns Square, Abingdon Street, Talbot Road, Talbot Square, Market Street, Church Street and Corporation Street before returning to normal route.

Service 11 towards Lytham: From Market Street will divert via Church Street, Corporation Street, Clifton Street, St Johns Square, Caunce Street, Grosvenor Street, Park Road, Reeds Avenue, Central Drive, Rigby Road, Tyldesley Road and continue normal route on Lytham Road.
