    Due to Road works on Talbot Road a diversion will be in place on services 5, 5a, 5b, 5c, 6, 7, 8, 14 and 18. The diversion is from 22.30pm friday evening completing at 05:15am Monday 20th July.

    Services 5c, 6 and 18
    Services towards Knott End (5C), Grange Park (6) and Poulton (18) will use the normal route to Talbot Road, then divert via Cookson Street, Caunce Street and Grosvenor Street before returning to the normal route
    Services towards the hospital (5C) and Blackpool (6 and 18) are unaffected

    Service 5, 5a,5b, 7, 8 and 14
    Services towards the Hospital (5, 5a and 5b), Cleveleys (7 and 8) and Fleetwood (14) will use the normal route to Talbot Road, then divert via Cookson Street, Caunce Street and Devonshire Road before returning to the normal route.

    Services towards Half Way House, Blackpool and Lytham will use the normal route to Devonshire Road traffic lights, and will then divert via Devonshire Road, Church Street, Cookson Street and Talbot Road where it returns to the normal route.

  • Changes to buses around Blackpool Enterprise Zone due to Roadworks

    6th May 2026 onwards

    The new link road at the Enterprise Zone has now opened, however Amy Johnson Way has closed at the junction of Avroe Crescent, meaning Victoria Lines services 5A and 5B are diverting:

    5A - From Halfway House - Squires Gate Lane - Common Edge Road - Vickers Way - Enterprise Zone - Vickers Way - Common Edge Road - Normal Route from Progress Way

    5B - From Progress Way - Common Edge - Vickers Way - Enterprise Zone - Vickers Way - Common Edge Road - Squires Gate Lane - Normal route from Halfway House

Our buses should leave main stops no later than 5 minutes past the scheduled time, and no earlier than 1 minute before. Drivers use main stops to keep running on time, but stops in between these are only estimates and drivers are not asked to wait at these stops.
