Reopening of Lord Street, Fleetwood

11th - 13th Sep 2026

We have just been informed that Lord Street in Fleetwood is now in the process of reopening to all traffic. From the start of service tomorrow (Saturday 12th September) services 1, 2, 5 and 14 will revert to their normal routes around Fleetwood.

On the Tramway, we now conducting final checks on the overhead line equipment, track, points and signals. Subject to successful testing, from the start of service tomorrow (Saturday 12th September) tram services will resume to Fleetwood Ferry.

However, London Street tram stop will remain closed in both directions due to the scaffolding structure on the platform. Please use Victoria Street or Fishermans Walk stops.

Resurfacing work Central Drive/Bloomfield Road

8th Sep 2026 onwards

Due to resurfacing work, the following services will be diverting between the hours of 19:00 - 05:00.

Service 6, 10

Northbound

At the Spen Corner turn right onto Waterloo Road, Continue along Waterloo Road to Oxford Square, at Oxford Square turn left onto Park Road, (2nd Set of Traffic Lights) turn left onto Condor Grove, at Grasmere Roundabout take the 4th exit onto Grasmere Road back on route.


Southbound

From Central Drive turn left onto Grasmere Road, at Grasmere Roundabout take the 1st exit onto Condor Grove, at the traffic lights turn right onto Park Road, at Oxford Square turn right onto Waterloo Road, continue down Waterloo Road, at Spen Corner turn left onto Hawes Side Lane back on route.


Service 5,5a,5b & 7

Northbound

At the Waterloo Hotel continue straight on Waterloo Road, Continue along Waterloo Road to Oxford Square, at Oxford Square turn left onto Park Road, (2nd Set of Traffic Lights) turn left onto Condor Grove, at Grasmere Roundabout take the 4th exit onto Grasmere Road, back on route at Central Drive.


Southbound

From Central Drive turn left onto Grasmere Road, at Grasmere Roundabout take the 1st exit onto Condor Grove, at the traffic lights turn right onto Park Road, at Oxford Square turn right onto Waterloo Road, continue down Waterloo Road and back on route at the Waterloo Hotel.

Bus stop closed - North Station (on Talbot Road towards Town Centre)

10th Sep 2026 onwards

Due to roadworks the bus stop outside the Gym on Talbot Road is closed. Please use the previous stop at Buchanan Street or the following stops are on either Market Street or Corporation Street.
