Diversion

27th - 29th Aug 2026

Due to roadworks at the bottom of Grange Road and Layton Road the line 5,5a,5b & 6 will divert from 18:30 until the end of service as follows:

Service 6
To Grange: Normal route to Caunce Street, left onto Devonshire Road, right onto Talbot Road and resume normal route at Westcliffe Drive.

To Tesco: Normal route to Westcliffe Drive, right onto Talbot Road, left onto Devonshire Road and right onto Caunce Street.





Service 5,5a &5b

To the Hospital: Normal route to Talbot Road, continue along Westcliffe Drive and Poulton Road to Plymouth Road roundabout. Take the 4th exit onto St Walburgas Road and resume normal route from the roundabout at the junction of Grange Road

To Halfway House: From the Hospital continue along St Walburgas Road to Plymouth Road roundabout. Take the 1st exit at roundabout onto Poulton Road then Westcliffe Drive and resume normal route at Layton.

Closure of Lord Street, Fleetwood

19th Jun 2026 onwards

Lord Street in Fleetwood is currently closed due to a dangerous building.

All trams are terminating at Fisherman's Walk. Stops at London Street, Victoria Street and Fleetwood Ferry cannot be served. A free shuttle bus will operate between 16/06/2026 and 29/08/2026 linking Elm Street bus stop (next to Fisherman's Walk tram stop) to Fleetwood Market. This will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays running every 15 minutes between 10am and 3pm. At other times services 5 and 14 serve Fleetwood Market and Fleetwood Ferry. Resort Rider services 1 and 2 - after leaving Affinity are then serving the northbound stop at Albert Square, and using Victoria Street, back to Dock Street to continue normal routes.

Victoria Lines service 5 and Wyre Line 14 are using Station Road, Dock Street, Adelaide Street, to serve the northbound stop at Albert Square. Then when leaving Fleetwood Ferry are using Queens Terrace, Dock Street, Station Road and back to normal routes.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused and we will resume normal services once the building is made safe or demolished and the road reopens.
