Your Christmas and New Year Timetable

2 months ago Fri 25th Nov 2022

Below, we’ve summarised how we’ll be operating to help you plan ahead.

Like previous years, some of our services will run differently on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Our buses and trams don’t operate on Christmas Day so our teams can enjoy the well-earned celebration.

This year, Tuesday 27th will be celebrated across the country as a bank holiday with Christmas Eve and Christmas Day falling on a weekend. This means, on that day, our bus services will run to a Sunday frequency.

Monday 19th – Friday 23rd December

Most services will operate a normal timetable, with service 14 operating a 20-minute service. Trams will run as normal.

Christmas Eve (24th December)

We will operate a Saturday service on our buses with most of their last departures being between 19:30 and 21:30. Trams will run as normal with the last tram to Fleetwood being at 20:00 and the last tram to Starr Gate being at 21: 05.

Social Media and Telephone Lines over the Christmas period.

Due to Christmas Day falling on a Sunday this year, there will be some extra days our team won’t be available via telephone or social media due to enjoying the Christmas break with friends and family.

On Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Tuesday 27th December our Customer Experience and Social Media team will not be available. They will return on Wednesday 28th December and will answer any queries as soon as they are able.

If our teams can help you with planning your festive journeys, please feel free to get in touch.
