Tramway Disruption from Monday 24 May 2021

UPDATE 26/05- On Friday 28th May the first tram from Starr Gate will depart at 6:00 and the first tram from Fleetwood ferry at 7:03. After Friday, trams will resume normal service levels until July when the next stage of work begins.

We will still run extra service 1 buses on Friday morning.

 

From Monday 24 May- Friday 28 May, tram extension works will be taking place at Talbot Square to continue the connection of Blackpool’s tramway with Blackpool North Train Station and the Talbot Gateway development. 

During the works

Morning tram services will start slightly later than normal between Tuesday and Friday each week.

On Monday mornings, Friday evenings and at weekends, the service will run as normal.

Starr Gate to Fleetwood

The first tram Tuesday to Friday will leave Starr Gate heading to Fleetwood at 6am.

The last tram leaving Starr Gate heading to Fleetwood Monday to Thursday will leave Starr Gate at 8pm.

Fleetwood to Starr Gate

The first tram leaving Fleetwood Ferry Tuesday to Friday will be at 7.03am.

The last tram leaving Fleetwood Ferry Monday to Thursday heading to Starr Gate will leave at 9.03pm.

On the affected days, we will be running extra journeys on our service 1 bus which you can catch from bus stops close to the tram platforms. You can check the service 1 timetable and plan your alternative journeys here.
