Service 2c extended to Knott End on Sundays

44 days ago Thu 6th Jun 2019

We're always monitoring our services and take account of feedback from all customers and stakeholders who use or have an interest in our services.

We have recently been working with Cat Smith MP, who represents the Fleetwood and Knott End areas amongst others. With Cat's help, we have agreed to extend our Service 2c to run to Knott End on Sundays, ensuring there is a direct bus service to Blackpool 7 days a week.

The 2c will start running to and from Knott End on Sundays from 23rd June, running every hour with the first departure from Knott End at 09:30, and the last departure at 18:30.

Come and meet Cat and the Blackpool Transport team on Saturday, 15 June at 10am outside the Working Men’s Club in Knott End village. We'll have plenty of information about your new service along with new timetables. You'll be able to get on board one of our brand new Palladium buses and chat with the team. We look forward to seeing you there.

We are receiving no external funding for this route extension and this comes at a large cost, so it's really important that residents of Knott End and it's surrounding areas get behind this initiative and give the bus a go on a Sunday. The service will be reviewed monthly during the summer season, so please ensure we can continue to run the service by regularly using it.

If you don't use it, you'll lose it.
