Fleetwood to Blackpool via Layton

Further Service 14 Diversions - Norcross Roundabout

26th Mar onwards

  • Affected routes:
  • 14

Due to the work on Norcross Roundabout there is a change to how our service 14 will be diverting from the start of service on Thursday 26 March. During this work, the 14 will be diverting from the Castle Gardens and travelling through Poulton, then via Amounderness Way and Victoria Road East returning to its normal route at Four Lane Ends. This means the service will not be able to use any of the stops on Fleetwood Road South between the Castle Gardens and Norcross Roundabout or stops at Beechwood Drive, Neville Drive and the southbound Four Lane Ends stop (There is a temporary stop located on Victoria Road for the service 14 heading towards Blackpool Town Centre). There will be a free shuttle service running every 15 minutes between Beechwood Drive and Four Lane Ends (via Fleetwood Rd South and Hawthorne Rd) to connect you to service 14 and additionally between the Castle Gardens Via Arundel Drive which you can catch from a temporary stop near Carleton Green Primary School. These free shuttle services will connect you with the service 14 for your onward journey. For any further information or help with planning your journey, please feel free to get in contact with our team via social media, [email protected] or on 01253 473001 between 11 am and 3 pm.

Important Updates to our Bus and Tram services

29th Mar onwards

Due to the ongoing situation, we will be reducing the frequency on some bus routes and all tram services will be temporarily suspended from the start of service on Sunday 29 March. Service 1 will run to a revised timetable which starts and finishes at the same time as the current tram timetable on a 30-minute frequency. This provides a suitable alternative whilst the tramway is suspended. The start and end times of bus services will mostly remain the same on all services so that key workers and those who need to access essential services can still do so. Please continue to avoid travelling unless it is essential that you do so and follow government guidance at all times. You can check full updated timetables for all services on the Routes and Maps page of our website and full summary information at

Our buses should leave main stops no later than 5 minutes past the scheduled time, and no earlier than 1 minute before. Drivers use main stops to keep running on time, but stops in between these are only estimates and drivers are not asked to wait at these stops. We do our best to run our buses on time, but please allow plenty of time to catch the bus and any connections as not everything is within our control.
