Norcross Roundabout Works - Service 14 Diversion

1 month ago Mon 14th Oct 2019

The next phase of works on Norcross Roundabout is due to begin on Sunday 20 October at 20:00. This will see a change to the diversion our service 14 is currently using.

On Saturday 19 October at 06:00, the roundabout will open and the service 14 will use its normal route between Blackpool and Fleetwood.

At 20:00 on Sunday 20 October the second phase of works will begin and the 14 will divert as below:

The service 14 to Fleetwood will use its normal route to Norcross Roundabout before turning left onto Amounderness Way, right on Victoria Road East and back to normal route turning left onto Four Lane Ends.

To Blackpool, the service will use its usual route to Four Lane Ends before turning right onto Victoria Road East, left onto Amounderness Way and back to normal route at Norcross Roundabout.

During this phase of works, the service will not be able to serve stops at Beechwood Drive, Neville Drive and the southbound Four Lane Ends stop (There will be a temporary stop located on Victoria Road for the service 14 heading towards Blackpool Town Centre.)

The service will also no longer divert through Poulton and will not use any of the stops between the Castle Gardens and Poulton Centre.

From Monday 21 October there will be a free shuttle service running every 15 minutes between Beechwood Drive and Four Lane Ends to connect you to service 14.

This next phase of works will see the service 12 return to its usual route serving Blackpool, Bispham, Carleton and Poulton on the way to Baines High School and Hodgson Academy.

There will be a special school service 14 which will travel to Millfied High School in a morning and in an afternoon. The service will leave Fleetwood Ferry at 07:40 and serve all regular service 14 stops along the route before terminating at Beechwood Drive. The service will leave Beechwood Drive at 15:00 and travel back to Fleetwood Ferry.

For any further assistance with journey planning whilst these diversions take place please feel free to contact our team.
