Simple, Better Value Fares

1 year ago Mon 1st Mar 2021

On Sunday 9 August we’re introducing simple, better value single fares on our bus and tram network across the Fylde Coast.

Our services are getting back to a ‘new normal’ and as our Covid-19 £1.50 fare initiative comes to end, we’re making it really easy for you to travel with us. Our new simple fare system means most of our customers will pay less to travel with us than before the pandemic.

We’ve split our network into two ‘fare zones’, the central (Blue) zone and outwards (Green) zone that you can see on our network map.

Children aged 5-15 will still benefit from our great value £1.20 single fare for any journey.

Our Tramway

Travelling by tram is easier than ever too! From Sunday 9 August you can explore 11 miles of coastline for a flat fare of £2.60, regardless of how far you travel. This fare replaces our multiple prices and will see the majority of our customers benefit from even greater value tram journeys. You can pay for your tram fare with contactless! Our new card machines accept contactless-enabled cards/ devices, making your commute even simplier.

Box with the words Saver Ticket Savings!

Travelling often?

Our range of Saver Tickets always provide the best value if you travel more than 3 or 4 times per week. We've also extended the age of our Young Person Tickets! You can take a look at our saver ticket prices here.

Aged between 16 and 21?

From Sunday 09 August, our Young Person Saver Ticket age ranges will be increasing and the tickets will be valid for anybody between the ages of 16 and 21 years old.

This means that even more of our customers can benefit from the discounted prices when travelling with us across the Fylde Coast.

You'll still pay the same single journey price as our adult options but if you choose one of our great value saver tickets, you'll benefit from even further reduced travel saving you up to 18% on our adult prices!

Paying for your journey

To buy your new single fares, simply pay your driver or conductor as you board your bus or tram with cash or contactless. Please use the correct change if you can or, if you’re taking advantage of our great value Saver Tickets buy with a contactless-enabled card/device or purchase before you board using our website or mobile app to get the best value.
