Join Us for Catch the Bus Month 2024

Blackpool Transport is excited to support Catch the Bus Month 2024, an initiative led by Bus Users UK. Buses play a vital role in our daily lives, providing essential links to work, education, healthcare, shopping, and social connections. They are an accessible mode of public transport, benefiting everyone—including those who are older, younger, disabled, or facing physical or mental health challenges. Buses also contribute positively to the environment, the economy, and the well-being of our communities.

To celebrate Catch the Bus Month, Blackpool Transport is hosting an all-accessible event on the 22nd of September 10am till 2pm, on Blackpool Promenade outside Central Pier. This event is open to all and offers a chance to become more familiar with public transport in a friendly and supportive setting. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet our staff, ask questions, and gain confidence in using our services. Our aim is to make future journeys more comfortable and accessible for everyone.

The events will take place at:

• Location & time: We will have a bus, just next to Central Pier on Blackpool Promenade (FY1 5BB). 10 am till 2pm.
