We’re excited to announce that from Sunday 19 July, Blackpool Transport will begin to operate routes 74 and 75 on behalf of Lancashire County Council, linking Fleetwood and Poulton with Preston and everything in between!

Routes 74 and 75 are rural routes linking Fleetwood, Poulton, Staining , Great Eccleston, Elswick, Inskip, Kirkham and Wesham, Catforth, Weeton, Newton, Lea, Ashton and Preston. You can see the full timetables right here or take a look at the route map and see an overview of timetables in our handy timetable leaflet.

We’ll be running the routes on behalf of Lancashire County Council and we are looking forward to welcoming customers new and old on board our Palladium buses.

New to Palladium?

Enjoy onboard charging (both USB and wireless), free Wifi, audio and visual next stop announcements, information screens and comfortable e-leather seating.

Already on board with us? You'll be able to use your regular Blackpool Transport 24 Hour, 3 Day, 7 Day and 30 Day saver tickets on both services across the whole route between Fleetwood and Preston. Yes, that means for the same great value travel tickets you can now head on even more journeys.

Here’s some useful information:

I use these routes already, what changes?

Apart from state-of-the-art fully accessible Palladium buses, not a great deal. There have been some slight changes to the current 75 route, with the 74 being a new route.

How can I buy my ticket?

You can pay the driver on board in cash for single, return, day or weekly ticket. Better still, buy your tickets in advance online or by using our mobile app.

You can still purchase your usual Lancashire County Council saver tickets onboard if you wish to travel on other Lancashire County Council tendered bus services.

Our great value Saver Tickets are valid on all buses and trams in our network, providing unlimited travel on any Blackpool Transport bus or tram.

If you are using single fares, our temporary Covid - 19 £1.50 fare initiative can be used across our regular network, with Lancashire County Council fares coming into effect as you head further afield. You can check out the fare table for the 74 and 75 here.

How can I find route and timetable information?

We’ll be integrating services 74 and 75 into our mobile app and website meaning that you can get live service updates, track your bus in real time and view maps and timetables by downloading the Blackpool Transport Mobile App, or by Planning Your Journey.

Our team are always on hand to help with any queries about your journeys so if you have any questions about this route or any other Blackpool Transport service, please feel free to get in touch.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
