Fares and Ticket Prices are Changing

1 month ago Thu 25th Jul 2019

There are changes to our single fares and saver ticket prices from Sunday 4 August 2019.

Child single fares and child 1 hour tickets aren't changing and our mobile app is still the cheapest way for you to travel. Haven't got it yet? Download it from the App Store or Google Play now!

We don't like changing our prices but we have seen an increase in our costs of diesel, which we fix for as long as possible at a rate which differs from that of pump prices, along with increases in operational and staffing costs.

The new fares are essential in allowing us to continue to improve your bus and tram services across the Fylde Coast. We have invested in 88 state-of-the-art buses over the past 4 years for Blackpool, all offering the latest technology in bus travel to provide exceptional service for our customers.

We have worked hard to keep increases to fares at an absolute minimum and travelling by bus or tram in Blackpool is still one of the cheapest ways of getting around. Our monthly saver ticket costs just £1.90 per day when bought via our mobile app, less than the price of your average coffee.

All of our adult single fares have changed by just 10p per journey, with child single fares remaining fixed at £1.20 for any journey.

You can see a full list of saver ticket prices from Sunday 4th August. If you need to talk to a member of our friendly team about any of these changes, just get in touch.
