Changes to Bus Timetables from 23 June

56 days ago Wed 22nd May 2019

Some of our bus timetables are changing for the summer.

We're making some improvements to your bus services from Sunday 23 June. The changes will help to keep the buses running on time and with the arrival of summer, we'll also be increasing the frequency on some routes. Our service 7 will also have a slight change to its journey and will begin to terminate at Clifton Hospital rather than St Annes Square from the 23 June.

We have summarised which routes are changing and how they could affect you below. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can assist with any queries or journey planning.

Service 1 - The 1 will run up to ever 20 minutes Monday - Friday, instead of every 30 minutes. We've also added some extra time to the timetable on weekends to help keep things running smoothly.

Service 2cWe’re bringing back the Sunday service to Knott End! The 2c will run hourly between 09:30 – 18:30 using a Palladium bus on Sundays! We have also tweaked the timetable Monday to Friday mornings to improve reliability.

Service 3 - The 3 will run more often in the early evenings which means it will continue running every 20 minutes until later than it currently does. We’ve done this to help keep you running on time.

Service 6 - The 6 has a small timetable change in the morning to stop it running alongside the 17 in some areas of the route..

Service 7 -  We’re increasing the frequency on the 7 to every 15 minutes, Monday to Friday. The 7 will also serve Clifton Hospital from 23rd June. It will stop right outside Clifton Hospital before using St Paul’s Avenue, Inner Promenade, King Edward Avenue and back to Clifton Drive South for journeys towards Cleveleys.

Service 11To help with reliability, we’re adding more time in to the timetable. This just means some of your current departure times will change slightly.

Service 14 - We’re adding extra time to peak journeys Monday to Friday and increasing the frequency to every 10 minutes. This will help to keep buses more evenly spaced apart and running on time. Saturday and Sunday times will stay the same.

Service 18 - We have adjusted the timetable on the 18 to better serve some areas along the route. The 18 will now depart on the hour, every hour from each end of the route.

Our other services will remain unchanged, which includes the 2, 4, 5, 9, 17, 19, and 20

No other services will be changing at this time.
