Changes to our Services 2C and 7

185 days ago Mon 14th Jan 2019

We’re always looking to improve our services and the best way we can continue to do so is by listening to you, our customers.

On Sunday 27 January 2019 we are making some very slight changes to our services 2C & 7 to ease and improve your journeys.

Service 2C

In November, we changed the route of our service 2C meaning residents and patients of the Over Wyre Medical Centre had a direct bus route to the facility.

The service will continue to travel along Pilling Lane and Grasmere Road to serve the Over Wyre Medical Centre but only from 06:50 until 17:20 Monday to Friday. At other times and Saturdays, the service will instead, continue down Lancaster Road on its way to the Ferry car park. This small change will ensure that there will continue to be a direct route to the Health Centre during its main opening hours whilst also taking into consideration feedback from residents in the area.

To improve punctuality, some times have changed slightly to keep things running on time. This is mainly from Knott End to Blackpool, but please check your timetables from 27 January onwards. You can do that here.

Service 7

We’re making a slight change to our service 7 route to make it easier to connect with our service 17 and continue your onward journeys to Lytham & Saltcotes.

The service 7 will still begin and end at the Lord Derby pub bus stop (Square Stand 4) in St Annes but you will now be able to travel to the Marks and Spencers stop in St Annes Square this means you won’t need to walk to a different stop to catch your connecting bus. The service will then carry on along Clifton Drive before turning right onto Links Road and right onto South Promenade before turning right again and beginning its journey back to Blackpool from the Lord Derby bus stop as it is now.

There will be no changes to the service 7 timetables.

For any enquiries or help in planning your journeys, please feel free to get in touch with our team.
