Blackpool Trams to start running from Sunday 19 July
1 week ago
Blackpool Trams will start running again from Sunday 19 July to support the town's economy and provide an important service for commuters and visitors to the resort.
Our tramway was suspended on Sunday 29th March, with Service 1 providing an alternative service to the trams throughout the closure.
As lockdown restrictions ease and more people need to make essential journeys, our trams will start running again so that we can continue to carry people as safely as possible.
Trams will run up to every 20 minutes, with the last tram being at around 19:30. Service 1 will continue running until 22:15 for any customers making a later journey.
We'll continue to update this page with further information about what you can expect on board. Our team are working to put extra safety measures in place and there will be changes to the number of available seats on board, as well as how you board and pay for your ticket.
