The greatest free light show on earth has been a major part of Blackpool’s attraction scene since 1879 when they were described as ‘artificial sunshine’.
The annual Illuminations display is to be extended by two months for the third consecutive year to provide an invaluable boost to the resort’s tourism season after the effects of COVID-19.
This year, £4.5 investment to the Illuminations will see brand new features and lighting technology, modernising the illuminations we've known for so long.
