Monday 7 July
This closure is expected to last approx 4 weeks.
School Road is closed from Midgeland Road to Common Edge Road for roadworks.
Line 10 will operate as normal to Midgeland Rd turning circle, returning back along Midgeland Rd, then via Progress Way to Common Edge Rd and then normal route.
Lytham Road Emergency Closure
Due to a sewer collapse at the Junction of Lytham Road and Haig Rd the road has been closed to traffic.
Lines 10-11-16 will be diverted via Bloomfield Rd, Central Drive and Waterloo Rd for the duration of the closure.
Mereside Gala Saturday 2 August B>
Langdale Road is closed due to the Procession from 1130hrs to 1300hrs approx. Buses will divert as follows:
lifestyle line 16 and Line 4
Will divert along Preston New Road to Clifton Rd and to Tesco in both directions.
Lines 3 and 6
Will divert via Clifton Rd, direct to Tesco in both directions.
From Monday 4 August
Poulton Roadworks from Monday 4 August
Roadworks will commence from Monday 4th August for up to 2 weeks at Market Place, Poulton close to ‘Poulton Stocks’ and will cause Lines 2/2c and 15 to be diverted.
Line 2/2c buses operating towards Blackpool from St Chad’s Church will operate via Queensway, Blackpool Old Road, Mossbourne Road and Garstang Road to Hardhorn Road.
Line 2/2c buses towards Cleveleys or Knott End will not serve St Chads or the Teanlowe Centre. They will serve the stops at Hardhorn Road entrance to the car park and also opposite the Train Station.
Line 15 will operate as normal to the Teanlowe Centre but will return the same way. Line 15 will be unable to serve St Chads stop.
Boundary Park Roadworks from Monday 4 August
From start of service on Monday 4th August for approximately 3 weeks
Northbound Line 14 will divert at Wades Farm roundabout and go via Plymouth Road and Mowbray Drive to Blackpool Old Road then normal route.
Southbound Line 14 is unaffected.
Monday 11th August
Lines 6 & 14
From start of service on for approximately 3 weeks due to the road works on Hawes Side Lane northbound buses will be diverted.
Line 6 buses will continue along Vicarage Lane (from the stop opposite Burton Biscuits) to the traffic lights at the Oxford, left on to Waterloo Road then right on to Ansdell Road and normal route.
Line 14 buses will divert from Hawes Side Lane left into Watson Road, right into Marton Drive, left on to Ansdell Road and normal route.
Buses to Mereside and St Annes will be running normal route.
