Line 3 Changes - Part 1

Due to extensive road closures in the Town Centre, Line 3 buses will be diverted in Mereside and in Blackpool town centre. Between Mereside and Blackpool, buses in to town will run three minutes earlier than the published times

Line 3 will not serve Tesco for a period of 10 weeks. Buses from the Town Centre will serve Penrose Avenue then continue along Clifton Road and up Deepdale Rd to Langdale Road (Mereside School) where buses will terminate. They will return via Langdale Road and then normal route. Passengers for Tesco should change onto Line 6 at Langdale Road for a free onward journey to Tesco

Also because of the road works, buses cannot serve Abingdon Street or the Winter Gardens. Instead Line 3 will call at a temporary stop outside Sacred Heart Church on Talbot Road until 1800 hours; and after 1800 Line 3 will use stop M1 on Market Street (at the back of the Town Hall). All Line 3 buses will also use the stop outside the former Woolworths on Talbot Road

Line 3 buses will serve the same stops in the town centre in both directions – please check the destination blind of the bus you are boarding
