Bus Timetables and service information

Throughout the illuminations period (2nd September - 6th November) there are some changes to your bus service. On Saturdays we will operate a different timetable to try and keep our buses running on time, and on Friday & Saturday evenings there will be diversions in place in the town centre area. This is due to the increased traffic and congestion in and around the town. Below are times and dates where service is affected.

Every Friday and Saturday evening from 3rd September until Saturday 5th November

All bus services will be diverted away from the Promenade, and many of the town centre bus stops will not be used.

Every night during the October half term (Friday 28th October – Saturday 05th November 2016)

All bus services will be diverted away from the Promenade, and many of the town centre bus stops will not be used.

Diversions will start at the following times and be in place until the end of service:

Saturday 3rd September to Saturday 22nd October - 18:00hrs.

Friday 28th October (daily) to Saturday 5th November – 17:00hrs.

Service 1:

Tram service Information

Throughout the illuminations period our trams operate a 12 minute frequency Monday - Friday day time, and a 10 minute frequency on Saturday & Sunday day time. A copy of the timetable can be found by clicking HERE.

In the evening some platforms are extremely busy so we encourage you to plan your journey in advance. On Friday & Saturday evenings we have team members on some of our busiest platforms to assist you in getting on to the tram. These platforms also operate a queueing system to ensure a fair boarding & alighting process for all customers.

If you require any further assistance or information come and see us at our Customer Centre on Market Street or Rigby Road, or call 01253 473001.
